He is Risen!
Easter at Trinity

Ash Wednesday & the Lenten Season
Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent & the time to repent of those things that separate us from God. To make that easier, Trinity offers our Wednesday worship service during Lent as a way to draw closer to Him in a meaningful way.
Each year, Trinity plans special events for Holy Week. We hand out palms on Palm Sunday, experience the last meal with The Living Last Supper and Sample the Seder, and remember the somber events of Good Friday through our Shadow Drama or Tenebrae worship service.
Celebrate the good news with Trinity on Easter morning! Trinity goes all out to rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection with special music, Easter breakfast, and balloons!

Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week. Palm Sunday commemorates Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Palm branches were waved to greet and honor Jesus as he entered the city.

Living Last Supper Drama: 7:00 pm
Presenting a Living Last Supper on Maundy Thursday. Our Living Last Supper is a drama recreating the events of the Upper Room where Jesus gathered his disciples on the eve of His crucifixion as depicted in the DaVinci painting, “The Last Supper”. Everyone is invited to experience this moving drama.
Good Friday: April 18, 2025
Tenebrae Service: 8:00 p.m.
This year’s Good Friday worship at Trinity is a service of Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows” or “darkness”). It begins with eight burning candles and a fully lighted sanctuary. As the service progresses with beloved hymns and readings from Jesus’ path to the cross, the candles are extinguished, and the church grows darker. By the end, all that remains is the Christ candle in a darkened sanctuary, reminding us that the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. This powerful worship experience is a great way to show God we remember and appreciate Jesus’ sacrifice. It serves as a meaningful preface to the joy of Easter!

We would love to have you and your family join us for Easter Sunday!
Our worship on Easter is joyful, welcoming, and full of celebration. Though we may have more special music this day or have decorated especially for the season, our Easter worship services are very much in the same spirit as our weekly services. Dress for all of our services varies from casual to formal – jeans and suits are both very common. Children, friends, and neighbors are all welcome to join you!
